I'm Kaitie, a seasoned photographer with over ten years of experience in Victoria, BC.
Art has always been my passion, whether through photography, videography, painting, or dancing. Creating a welcoming and safe environment for my clients is very important to me. I work with people from all walks of life and am committed to continuously learning how to tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs.
I have spent time on both sides of the camera, as a photographer and a model, to understand how it feels to be the client.
Although I may seem a bit shy and reserved at first, as I find myself more comfortable in small groups or at home with my partner and cats, I've found that these traits help me connect with my clients. It's interesting how these qualities have brought me closer to people and create a comfortable and real atmosphere for those I work with. If you're feeling nervous, know that I am too and we will end up laughing and having fun by the end of your session!
Here's my booking process:
I. Choose your package & Inquire
Once you've chosen a package, click "Inquire" to get started. I'll be in touch within 1-3 business days. After confirming your details, I’ll send over a contract and booking form. A small retainer will be needed to secure your session date and time.
II. Your session
On the day, we'll meet at the chosen location and start with some easy poses to help you feel comfortable. If you have ideas or see a spot you like, let me know! I want the session to reflect you, so if anything feels off or you have questions, don't hesitate to speak up.
III. Sneak peeks & Delivery
Before wrapping up, I’ll explain the image delivery process.
Here’s a quick rundown:
- You’ll receive sneak peeks within a week.
- If you've selected the proof gallery, you'll choose your favorites, and final images will be delivered within 4 weeks.
- Without the proof gallery, your final images will arrive about 4 weeks after the session.
- All images will be sent via an online gallery and Google Drive link for easy access and downloading.
- For weddings and large events, the specific timeline for image delivery will be outlined in the contract.
