Meet the Photographer
Hey! I'm Kaitie
The moments we end up holding onto the tightest are almost never the ones we planned.
They happen when you've forgotten about the camera for a second. When you're laughing because something genuinely caught you off guard. When you're fidgeting with your hair, fixing each other's clothes, or just existing.
That's the part I love.
I'm not here to make you fit into a Pinterest board. I'm here to make space for you to show up exactly as you are. I want you to leave feeling like you got to be yourself, not like you spent an hour performing for a camera.
At the end of the day, the photos are just the vessel. It's the people in them that matter. I still can't believe this is something I get to do, and I'll never stop feeling grateful to be trusted with the strange, beautiful privilege of documenting people's lives.

What it's really about
The moments we end up caring about the most usually aren’t planned.
They happen when you’ve stopped thinking about the camera for a second and you’re just being yourself. That’s what I’m always leaning into during sessions; letting things unfold a bit instead of trying to make everything perfect. I want you to be able to come to your session and feel safe and appreciated as you are, however you show up in the world.
At the end of the day, it’s not really about the photos as much as it is about the people in them and I thank my lucky stars every day for being trusted with creating art documenting people's lives.
