My approach is to act like a fly on the wall, I want it to be about you and your loved ones. Posed photos have their moment, but the real photos you'll end up cherishing happen when you're not expecting it. I focus on friends and family who are precious to you, small details you worked hard on to bring your day together, and little glimpses that would otherwise go missed.
I’m drawn to the weddings that don’t follow the rulebook; smaller, more personal celebrations and couples who want to do things in a way that actually feels like them. The kind of days where you can be present with your people, goof off, and not feel like you’re performing for the camera. If that's your vibe, I think we will get along just fine!

Want to chat before booking? Pre-booking consultations are available by phone or email if you have questions or want to talk things through.
Once you're booked, we'll connect again before your wedding to go over the details and make sure everything is ready to go.
If you'd like to chat by phone, I ask that you send over any questions or topics you'd like to discuss beforehand. This helps us make the most of our time together and gives us something to refer back to as your wedding gets closer.
During peak season, pre-booking consultations are $50 and are applied to your total when you book.
You'll receive a full wedding guide with tips, planning notes, and helpful info to make your day run smoothly and keep the photo side of things as easy as possible.
All images are edited in my signature style, with natural skin retouching where needed. If you'd like something more specific or detailed retouching, that's available by request.
Your finished gallery will be delivered online for easy viewing and sharing, with a backup on Google Drive.
Typical turnaround is up to 12 weeks, with sneak peeks sent within one week of your wedding.
35MM FILM — $60/roll
SECOND SHOOTER — $85/hr
Available in 4 or 6 hour increments. Additional 2-hour coverage is available with Full Day packages only.
Retainer Policy
Full and half-day packages include a complimentary engagement session is included as part of the wedding package and typically acts as the retainer to secure the wedding date.
This session must be booked and paid within 10 days of completing the initial wedding booking, but the session itself can take place at a later date. If the session is not scheduled within that timeframe or you choose to swap it out for another option, the retainer must be paid separately to hold the date.
Engagement Sessions
Engagement sessions are the best way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding. It’s a chance for us to hang out, chat about your ideas, and test out a few poses we can bring back on your day.
If you’ve already done an engagement session or want to skip it, you can swap it for a boudoir session, or use it towards a second shooter on your wedding date.
The engagement session payment acts as your retainer to secure your wedding date for half and full day packages. Since it’s included in your wedding package, the amount you pay for the session is credited toward your final wedding balance.
FAQ
Can we see a full wedding gallery before booking?
If requested, I'll send over a curated sample gallery of over 400 photos with different lighting, venues and moments from past wedding days. This will cover getting ready all the way to the reception from multiple weddings.
I choose to do it this way to keep my clients' personal moments private. Not everyone is ok with their photos (especially family members and children) being shared with strangers.
Do you travel for weddings?
While I'm based in Victoria, BC, I’m happy to travel throughout Vancouver Island and beyond. Any event location requiring travel over the Malahat or off Vancouver Island will incur an additional travel fee to cover time, gas, and ferries.
For early morning starts, late finishes, or schedules that make travel unsafe or impractical, accommodations may be required which can be provided via hotel room or a hotel fee.
Can we provide you with a shot list?
I always welcome any specific moments or people you'd like captured! I work in a documentary style and focus on capturing the day as it naturally unfolds, which means it's not guaranteed we will get ALL your requested have photos, feel free to send me any must-have moments or a shot list or inspo photos. I do require a shot list of family members for the family photo portion. If you need an example just let me know.
Do you offer phone call consults?
Yes I do, during busy season, time slots may be a little limited so keep that in mind! Just a little note: My brain may work a little differently than yours, and I tend to communicate much better over email than over the phone! I find it much easier to keep track of all the little details that way, and it also gives us both something to refer back to as we get closer to your date and things start coming together. I’m always happy to hop on a call when needed, but email is definitely my preferred way to communicate!
