So... how do we actually book?
Click the "Inquire" button on the session you want to book (this can be found on the info page for each session type)
I’ll get back to you to chat dates, vibes, and what you’re looking for. Once we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a contract and booking info. Your date’s locked in once that’s signed and your retainer is paid!

How far in advance should we book?
The sooner, the better, especially if you’ve got a specific date in mind.
Wedding dates can book up anywhere from 2 months to a year in advance, depending on the season. If you're planning a wedding on a high-demand summer weekend, aiming for 6–12+ months ahead is usually your best bet.
For other sessions, I’ve got a bit more wiggle room especially for weekday shoots. That said, the earlier you reach out, the better chance we have of finding the perfect date, location, and light.

How and when will we receive our photos?
For portraits, branding, or shorter sessions: Sneak peeks within 48 hours and galleries are typically sent within 4 weeks.
For weddings: sneak peek galleries are guaranteed within a week, and full galleries are ready within 12 weeks.
Everything gets sent in an online gallery for you to share, and I always include a Google Drive folder for the full resolution images for print and storage!

What’s your editing style?
Generally, my editing style is more true to life with a little bit of film inspo. I do have a bit of flexibility with my editing, and work with my clients to achieve their ideal look. If you're wanting to lean more into the dark and moody vibes or want to get creative with editing, I'd love to hear about it!

What if we have to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! I totally get it. If you need to reschedule, just give me as much notice as you can and we’ll sort something out. I do require at least 24 hours notice for a full cancellation or reschedules involving rented spaces unless it's due to an emergency. No shows will be charged the full session fee as well as the studio fee if there is one.
Retainers are non-refundable but will be transferred to your rescheduled session if applicable.

What if I have no idea how to pose?
That's totally ok! Honestly most people don't unless they've been in front of the camera a million times. (Even then!)
I have a tonne of poses and prompts for you to keep poses feeling natural. If you have anything you'd like to recreate, send me some inspo photos and we can make sure that's incorporated in your session! If you have any concerns let me know and we can makes sure your poses are geared towards enhancing the best parts about you!

Will you Photoshop me?
Short answer, no. Long answer, I do light retouching on non permanent features such as blemishes or rogue hairs. If you're looking for a bit of extra retouching/skin resurfacing (for scarring or other concerns), we can chat about that!
I have a hard policy about altering people's bodies, I will not change your body or the way you look as a whole. If there's something small on a photo that you'd like adjusted, bring it up and I can see what can be done.

Do you help with outfits?
I can help you out with styling and colour choices! I have a styling guide available for you to follow as needed! Obviously, I want you to feel like you, so feel free to follow the guide as loosely as you want.

Can you help us pick a location?
Yes absolutely! Let me know what you're envisioning and I will try my best to come up with a list of options for you to choose from!
You're also welcome to choose from any of the studios listed above. Their websites are attached with extra photos and more information about each studio!
If you've picked a package that includes multiple locations, I'm happy to travel as long as the locations aren't hours apart! Keep in mind that traffic on the island is a little crazy during rush hour.

What happens if it rains?
Living on the west coast means rain’s always a possibility. If we’re aiming for golden hour and the weather’s not cooperating, I’m happy to reschedule.
But if you're down for moody vibes, clear umbrellas, and wet hair that looks like an "Notebook" film moment, let's go for it!

YES
Please, I love animals! Just let me know beforehand so I can have the right prompts ready for you! Consider bringing some treats or a toy for me to hold to get their attention.
